Mary E. Schmidt is the founder of EyeSystems, a leadership development and consulting firm in the eyecare field.  She has been an ABO certified optician and a CPO certified paraoptometric.

Mary has 45+ years’ experience within the optometric field including hands-on in office experience, along with leadership for multi-doctor practices, outside sales and marketing experience and she was director of education and training for a national practice management group. 

Mary has consulted for with practices and leaders in eyecare field for over 30 years.

She was voted one of Vision Monday’s 50 Most Influential Women in Optical.
